The Polish-Canadian Jazz Society cordially invites you to our third annual Zaduszki jazz concert, featuring the Bill Coon Quintet and some of Western Canada’s finest jazz musicians. Join us in the cozier lower venue at Polish Hall Zgoda for an evening of live jazz and remembrance.

A tradition of jazz and remembrance
Zaduszki, or All Souls Day, is a time to remember loved ones who have passed away. In Poland, the tradition of gathering for live jazz after visiting cemeteries became an expression of cultural freedom in the face of communist-era repression. The tradition continues today in cities across Poland and abroad.
