Our History
The Polish-Canadian Jazz Society (PCJS) was founded in 1998 by a group of passionate jazz enthusiasts and musicians of Polish heritage residing in Vancouver. Their vision was to create a vibrant community that celebrates the rich traditions of Polish jazz while fostering collaboration with Canadian artists. Over the years, PCJS has grown into a significant cultural entity, hosting numerous concerts, festivals, and workshops. We've proudly showcased established international stars and nurtured emerging talent, contributing to the diverse musical landscape of Canada. Our commitment to promoting jazz and cultural exchange continues to drive our efforts, connecting people through the universal language of music.
